Ventilation problems rarely announce themselves. They show up as a hot attic in the afternoon, a bathroom that stays humid long after the shower, a dryer that needs two cycles, odors that hang around, weak airflow, or a room that just feels stuffy.
None of that is dramatic. It is just air that is not getting where it needs to go. A bathroom exhaust fan has one job: get the steam and the smells out before they settle into the walls, the paint, and the ceiling. When the fan is weak, noisy, broken, or simply old, that job stops getting done.
Most of the time the fix is a straight bathroom exhaust fan replacement with a quieter unit that moves more air. Sometimes the fan is fine and the duct behind it is crushed, disconnected, or was never routed outdoors. We check both, because a new fan on a bad duct is money spent on the wrong part. If a bathroom has no fan at all, we can install one, run the duct, and add the termination.
